Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX), and Alphabet (GOOG) are the five technology giants trading publicly in the market. Investors grouped these companies into one acronym to capture the collective impact that these companies have on the markets.
Apple is the first 1-trillion company , the reason was simple: It makes devices that a lot of people are willing to spend a lot of money on. Amazon has become the second American company to cross that once-unimaginable line. Recently, Microsoft has become the third US company to pass a market cap of $1 trillion on April 25th, 2019. It joins Apple and Amazon in hitting the $1 trillion valuation ahead of rival Google.
Amazon captures 49 cents of every e-commerce dollar in the United States. It employs more than 550,000 people and generates $178 billion in annual revenue. It sells everything from computing space to peanut butter to appointments with plumbers.

Among the FAANG，Apple is taking a leading position in the valuation. Apple became the first publicly traded American company to be worth more than $1 trillion when its shares climbed 3 percent to end the day at $207.39 in August 2018.
Google has grown all the way, with a market capitalization of $500 billion in October 2015.
Amazon is a “potential stock” in recent years. In April 2018, its market value exceeded Google, and in five months it became the second of the five companies to break through trillions.
Facebook was listed at the latest，which was launched on the Nasdaq market on May 2012, and it took a rocket speed to pass the valuation of Amazon for the first time in less than two years (2014) . The market value has been fluctuating in recent years.
Netflix, which was already listed in 2002, has a slower market capitalization and has been below $10 billion until 2013. Since then, it has grown steadily and broke through $100 billion at the beginning of last year.
